One of the most important details of our lives is our sanity. We have to hold certain values close to us in order to relieve the tension that stress would put on our minds. We as humans enter the desolate stages of isolation (i.e. depression) and lose ourselves. Others look down on the depressed, and think, "why cant they just get over it?".  When a person loses sight of their goals they began to slip into a realm in which a defense mechanism kicks in. Their body becomes merely a vessel carrying a lonely soul through a world that will not accept the image that it has to portray. The mind of this desolate interpretation of life has been left behind as the "auto-pilot" takes over. Therefore, the sanity of this being has been compromised and must be saved before the vessel self-destructs.
